The project will deliver 33 houses and 17 flats at a site within the Mertsham Estate in Surrey, where the regeneration of the wider estate has created the opportunity to create a housing development which focuses on providing new homes to suit the longer term needs of the area, as well as a legacy of high quality housing which will stand the test of time.
The integration of the development into its setting was a key consideration for Stockwool, the development will provide new homes but also relate to its setting and provide wider benefits. Urban blocks will provide a degree of permeability through the site, with low key mews spaces connecting to the main road. Stockwool developed a palette of house typologies which were designed to enhance the character of the Estate.
The scheme is now on site with completion aimed for early 2020.
