Queen’s Yard Winner of NLA Mixing Award 2020

We are proud to announce that our Queen’s Yard project in Hackney Wick has been selected by the New London Architecture as the winner for this year’s awards within the Mixing category.

This truly mixed-use development will deliver 143 new build-to-rent homes, 4,500 sqm of flexible workspace and retail, cafe, restaurant, and bar space. It will also deliver a new purpose-built theatre to facilitate the relocation and expansion of the Yard Theatre and its Hub67 community centre. Located adjacent to the River Lea Navigation and set around the largest public space in the Hackney Wick Masterplan area, the proposal combines new-build elements and the retained heritage assets of the White building and Clarnico warehouse.

The project is a collaboration between the following team members:

Stockwool – Masterplan Architects & Plot Architects for the Yard Buildings
Jestico + Whiles – Plot Architects for the White Post Lane Building
Client – Hatton Garden Properties Limited
Client Representative – Shaw Corporation
Planning Consultant – Lichfields
Landscape Architect – SpaceHub
MEP & Environmental Engineer – XCO2
