RADLETT CLOSE GETS COUNCIL GO-AHEAD

Stockwool has secured planning consent for Radlett Close in Stratford, a mews development for Canonsfield Properties Ltd.

The project will deliver seven new homes and aims to rejuvenate this infill site with new accommodation, bringing improvements to the landscape setting of the existing apartment buildings while also activating currently underused Atherton Mews, creating active frontages and a new connection from Romford Road.

A break in the site footprint provides a link between the new courtyard space and the existing mews and presents the opportunity for two differing house typologies, two four-bedroom semi-detached homes and a terrace of five three-bedroom houses.

The semi-detached homes are designed to suit the specific constraints of the location and maximise the quality of the accommodation with double-height living spaces on the ground floor together with private gardens. The terraces have their own garage at ground floor, and private patios fronting Atherton Mews with top floor living space orientated onto a private rooftop to maximise sunlight.
