Nigel Crawley BA (Hons) DipArch DipUD RIBA

Associate

Nigel joined the Practice in 2001 and became an Associate in 2005.

With a substantial track record of working on urban regeneration and residential schemes, Nigel specialises in taking projects from initial concept design through to successful planning approval. Notably, he led a team on the design for Stratford Halo, the tallest building in London Borough of Newham and one of the tallest residential developments in the capital. By working closely with the various planning authorities and the London Thames Gateway Development Corporation, the 43-storey tower received planning consent within just 12 months. He also worked on Wallis Road, a heritage-led regeneration scheme of 40 new homes alongside artists’ studios in Hackney Wick, which received planning consent from the London Legacy Development Corporation in 2015.

With vast experience of preparing bids and feasibility studies for new projects, Nigel has exceptional design and presentation skills, and is accomplished in the preparation of design development documents that are accompanied by strong freehand conceptual visualisations and detailed sketches and illustrations.
