Rita Mazeda

Architect

Rita joined the Practice in 2016.

She has extensive experience of detailed design and construction, having worked on housing and mixed-use projects across the UK. In addition, Rita has experience of all work stages from concept design through to completion on new-build private houses, educational and health facilities in Portugal, including the conversion of Listed buildings and places of worship.

At Stockwool, Rita has worked on a range of large mixed-use projects including the first phase of development at Gallion’s Quarter which will create 292 homes near the Royal Docks, an area of London that is¬†experiencing significant regeneration and substantial investment in anticipation of the opening of a new Crossrail station at Custom House.

Rita likes to give particular attention to a building’s materials and study how the detailing which is developed reflects the original design concept. She is also interested in the use of light as an important tool in creating well-designed spaces.
