Architecture and urbanism is an important combination to us. For a building to be truly successful, it must embrace its context, both social and physical. We thrive on designing in the urban environment and are equally comfortable tackling small and challenging infill sites as we are creating new residential quarters, refurbishing derelict buildings and bringing brownfield sites back to life.

Our projects are not only sustainable and cost effective, they often trigger regeneration in their wider context and have contributed to an improved urban realm in many neglected areas in London and beyond. In our view, the way a building is made and how it ages are as important as how it looks when just built.

With you at every stage

We are proud of the quality of service we offer and believe that while our Practice has grown in size over the years we haven’t lost sight of how to give our clients the personal service they deserve. Every project is overseen by a dedicated Partner and Associate, ensuring clear lines of communication throughout. The vast majority of our clients have chosen to work with us for many years and most entrust us with taking their projects from the earliest stages of feasibility, through planning and detailed design, and into construction. We aim to build out everything that we design, and we always design with buildability in mind.

Design excellence at every scale

We are internationally accredited for quality assurance, audited regularly and have solid procedures in place for measuring the success of all aspects of our output. But more than that, our design ethos means we are constantly pursuing architecture of the highest quality, always remembering that while numbers are important, every flat, office or classroom we design will one day be where someone lives, works or learns.

Innovation at every detail

We are empowered by technology, not constrained. While we’ve been at the forefront of the industry for many years, harnessing the power of CAD as it has developed and pioneering the use of Building Information Modelling (BIM) across a range of scales, we still know when it’s time to pick up a pencil. Our Practice works in two studios: Studio One focuses on pre-planning, while Studio Two is dedicated to construction and project delivery. As a result, our teams are experts in their fields and always up to date with the latest innovations in their areas of work.
