Alan has a significant track record in delivering a diverse range of projects. He leads a team, working closely with clients preparing initial feasibility and capacity assessments, securing planning approval and following on with site delivery. Alan joined the Practice in 2004 and became an Associate Director in 2021.

As well as leading on dense inner-city schemes, Alan has very particular experience with lower density suburban and greenfield sites, working within established design codes to realise distinctive residential schemes. This is complemented with his track record with our hotel and aparthotel buildings. Across all projects and all work stages, he brings his passion for the detail, ensuring the very best outcomes. 

Alan is a key member of the Construction Technology Working Group, bringing his expertise of new methods, techniques and products to the team and projects he leads.

Alan is one of Stockwool’s vintage Vespa fans and when his head isn’t in Detail magazine, he can usually be found roadside waiting for the repair van!
