Birgit focuses on the post-planning phases of projects, managing the delivery of working drawings packages for large residential and mixed-use schemes. Birgit joined the Practice in 2007 and became an Associate in 2021. She has been responsible for, or central to, the delivery of many of Stockwool’s developments over those years.

Her construction and technical knowledge and excellent project management skills, makes Birgit a key asset to clients in the delivery of complex projects. With previous experience as a site manager, Birgit has a particular interest in monitoring construction progress by regularly visiting sites and liaising with consultants and suppliers to find design solutions. 

In the office Birgit leads large teams of architects and technologists in the detail design and delivery process. As one of our multi-linguists and having studied in both Germany and France, she readily glides between English, German and French when the opportunity arises.

Away from her computers, Birgit is busy organising events and activities for local youth-groups.
