Gavin’s expertise in both design and delivery can be seen across much of the Practice’s work. As well as directing a range of pre-planning and delivery projects - with a focus on mixed tenure housing - he also leads on our work within registered provider frameworks. The breadth of Gavin’s involvement allows him to oversee projects from their inception through to completion. 

A Partner since 2005, having joined the Practice in 1996, Gavin’s knowledge of planning and legislative procedure has benefited projects at various scales and complexities - including schemes for Peabody, L&Q and several London Boroughs. His thorough approach and broad understanding of current design and technical standards ensures projects which meet both the needs of the building’s users as well as the practical demands set by clients and legislative authorities. 

Whilst Gavin works across all stages of housing-led development, he has become an expert at concept design - adept at working closely with clients to explore, assess, define, and ultimately realise a site’s potential value.

Within the Practice Gavin oversees the Construction Technology Working Group, encouraging colleagues to share innovative products, techniques, and ideas for the benefit of all projects. He also oversees the Practice IT and BIM, supported by our BIM managers. 

Away from the office, Gavin can be found with a drink in hand, following his beloved Liverpool Football Club.
