Paul leads on the planning and delivery of large-scale, urban residential developments including schemes with upwards of 650 new homes. Paul joined the Practice in 2012 and became a Design Director in 2021. His experience also includes schemes within heritage settings, dealing with the associated planning sensitivities, including for example, Calders Wharf on the Isle of Dogs overlooking the Greenwich World Heritage site. 

Paul’s excellent technical knowledge and his ability to co-ordinate, and manage large internal teams as well as external Consultant teams, means he becomes invaluable to our client’s in designing and delivering complex projects on challenging sites. This close working with clients, Project Managers and the Design Team ensures continuity and excellence of service.

He leads the Construction and Technology Working Group within the office, ensuring that our early feasibility and planning schemes are designed to the best construction standards and are fully deliverable. With a keen interest in sustainable architecture, Paul is also a member of the Practice Sustainability Working Group.

As Design Director, Paul steers our project architects, architectural designers and technologists on all aspects of design within the office, both front end and design delivery. 

When not in the office, Paul is always outdoors, whether cycling, walking or just being…
