MA (Hons) DipArch RIBA
Partner
Since joining the Practice in 1998, he has been involved in the all phases of building delivery; from planning, through to detailed design and the construction stages of numerous substantial projects. Tom became a partner in 2022 and now takes a strategic lead on a wide range of complex construction projects, guiding our growing team of architects, designers and technicians.
Recently Tom has taken an integral role on Stockwool’s Hotel and Aparthotel schemes, including projects in Cambridge and Whitechapel. With a long-standing interest in solving complex problems, Tom makes the ideal lead for the Practice’s portfolio of refurbishment projects, which require a balance between design innovation and the practicalities of construction – in tandem with a broad understanding of historic construction techniques.
Ensuring that the best working practices are upheld across Stockwool is of key importance to Tom. He curates a programme of Technical Breakfasts in order to improve construction knowledge and understanding across the Practice, helping to ensure that all projects comply with the various regulations and standards required and seeing that our work continues to evolve and develop.
As one of our many cyclists at Stockwool, when not busy planning cycling tours Tom finds himself preoccupied with building and assembling - or fixing - bikes for himself and his family.
