A comprehensive mixed-use redevelopment of Queen’s Yard in Hackney Wick will provide significant improvements to the current setting of the yard and the existing buildings. This scheme will deliver the aspirations of the Hackney Wick Masterplan that will provide a mix of tenure and residential units to provide a broad variety of new homes, from flexible starter one bedroom apartments to loft style two and three bedroom apartments and duplexes. The mix of flexible workspace units for small and medium sized enterprises will keep introducing vibrancy and activity to the yard and the local area. An improved public space around the existing and proposed buildings will enhance the functionality of the yard and maximise the permeability and quality of the public realm context.
