This first Yotel Pad, a new aparthotel at 104-106 The Broadway in Stratford, completes the urban block along The Broadway and Salway Place, while preserving the character and appearance of the Stratford St John’s Conservation Area. We secured planning approval in 2020 for Silver Mascot Ltd and have subsequently delivered this 62 room aparthotel for MBL Contractors.
This hallmark scheme marks an important pedestrian connection with Stratford’s Cultural Quarter. The front façade of the building is formed from a regular masonry grid addressing the setting of the listed church nearby. Each hotel room looking out onto the Broadway benefits from full height windows and louvred side panels framed with deep reveals and recon stone details. Along Salway Place, to the side, the passageway through to Stratford’s Theatre and University Square, features directional bay windows that introduce rhythm and interest to this important route.
Internally the scheme boasts dramatic Yotel branding and the studio aparthotel rooms feature bespoke built-in furniture, lighting, and shower room pods – all contributing to an exciting interactive experience contributing to an exciting interactive experience.
