A first phase of the Canada Water Masterplan, Porters Edge, delivers 234 apartments for private rental for Notting Hill Genesis, together with a 9000sqm new store for Decathlon who previously occupied the site. The store occupies the lower levels of the building, with an outdoor multi-use games area situated on the podium level.
The residential component is accommodated within four buildings, of up to 17 storeys, which together form a courtyard configuration alongside the Albion Channel. The scheme adopts a restricted palette of brickwork with reconstituted stone features and decorative metalwork accents. As executive architects, we ensured that the completed scheme faithfully delivers the original planning scheme by design architects Maccreanor Lavington, with a high build quality delivered by the contractor Ardmore Construction Limited.
