Woodberry Down, Finsbury Park

High-quality homes across the water's edge

The Woodberry Down Regeneration is a partnership between Hackney Council, Genesis Housing Association and Berkeley Homes to replace nearly 2,000 1930’s flats with over 5,500 new homes for social rent, shared ownership and private sale. The project also includes public parks, community buildings and shops. We undertook the detailed design of 405 new high-quality homes across the Water’s Edge and New River Gardens blocks, alongside a 30-storey tower with pre-fabricated unitised façades.

The mix of studio, one, two and three bedroom apartments and penthouses will be finished to a high specification and all homes will benefit from private outdoor space in the form of balconies, roof terraces or gardens.

Further communal amenities such as a swimming pool, gym, spa, health centre, transport links and shops, as well as extensive landscaping, improve the offer for potential buyers and existing residents in the neighbouring estates.
